When power is on, ozone will be generated using a patented "AP Corona Discharge ozone chip" and the blower drive the ozone into the open area. This mild ozone (low concentration of 0.02 to 0.05 ppm) will act as an neutralize agent to react with any toxic gases, odor and ammonia (urine produce ammonia) that present in the air. Ozone will also kills fungus, air-borne bacteria and viruses by breaking down its cell. High humidity country are expose to heavy fungus growth, which is very hazardous to our health.

There are 16 combinations setting for the ozone output. Electronically control using a friendly "dip switch" as illustrated below. Please use the correct setting, DO NOT set  high ozone output for a small room. You can sense the concentration of ozone by smell. Lower down the setting if the smell is heavy. You will only need a low concentration of ozone to do the job. The smell of the ozone is like mild burning smell and this is normal.

How to install Asspro AP-8?

This is a small and very light machine that easily install on the wall using 2 screws (guide will be provided) or place it on the table. Face the grill downward or side way so that the ozone output will flow downward, as ozone is heavier than air. AP-8 work best with a good air circulation. Switch on the ventilator or fan to make the air circulate. Install at lease 3 meter away from your sitting position. The smell of the ozone is like mild burning smell and this is normal.

AP-8 is a low power consumption machine. You can use a power source from a lighting point or parallel with lighting point (but lighting point without dimmer control), or any power source that match the machine's voltages (110 volts or 230volts).

AP-8 Timer Setting for ozone control output.

There are 4 switches in a dip switch namely 1,2,3 and 4. From the drawing you can see the dip switch is now set to 1=On, 2=Off, 3=Off and 4=On.

The table indicate the time in minute (Min). ON time interval of 1,3,12,18 and OFF time interval of 3,10,15,20.

Example: If you want to set to ON time for 1 min and OFF time for 15 min, then the switch position will be 1=Off, 2=Off, 3=On and 4=Off

If you want ON time for 12 min and OFF time for 5 min, then set the position to 1=On, 2=Off, 3=Off and 4=Off

Ozone effect on bacteria removal in air

The Asspro AP-8 Air Sterilizer was placed in the middle of a room measured at approximately 300 sq ft. Cultured aerobic bacteria was sprayed in the room and initial microbial quality of the air inside the room was measured.

Based on the above results obtained, the AP-8 Air Sterilizer was found to be effectively removed the bacteria count up to 85% after turning on for 0.5 hour. The effectiveness reached 99% after turned on continuously for 2 hours.
